What’s Covered?

  • Trip Cancellation or Interruption: Up to $100,000 for reasons like sickness, injury, death, mandatory evacuation, job loss, or family emergencies.
  • Trip Delay: Up to $750 ($200 per day) to cover accommodation and travel expenses due to delays caused by carrier issues or inclement weather.
  • Emergency Accident & Sickness Medical Expense: Up to $25,000 for medical treatment in the event of an illness or injury during your trip.
  • Emergency Medical Evacuation: Up to $525,000 for emergency transportation to the nearest hospital by air or ambulance.
  • Baggage Delay, Theft or Damage: Up to $1,000 ($200 per day) for purchasing necessary personal items if your baggage is delayed by 12 hours or more. Up to $1250 for loss, theft or damage to baggage (including sporting equipment)

Trip Preserver may reimburse for cancellation or interruption due to:

  • Lack of snowfall causing ski facility closure 
  • Your destination vacation home is rendered uninhabitable by a natural disaster
  • Mandatory evacuation ordered by local government authorities at your trip destination due to a natural disaster
  • Sickness, injury or death of you, a family member, a traveling companion or a service animal

Trip Preserver also provides:

  • Worldwide emergency assistance service*
  • Emergency roadside assistance service*

*Travel assistance services provided by the designated assistance provider

Payment is due at the time of adding travel insurance, is non-refundable, and coverage is effective once payment is received.
